Warm scones with homemade marmalade, delicious finger sandwiches and nice little pastries. Served in the manor salons. Booked at least three days in advance. SEK 295 / pcs.

Wallby’s Table – Swedish Culinary Traditions, The Småland Way.

A charming table sharing, where one or multiple parties are seated together.

We set our table after season and weather, featuring two unique settings at Wallby Säteri – either outdoors down by the lake under the stars, or in General Bråkenhielms dining room dating back to the 1880s.  
Customary dishes from Småland interlaced with Swedish culinary traditions. The year begins with the vernal equinox in March, lamb, root vegetables and the winter’s catch of fish…the spring table along with new potatoes and spring vegetables….smorgasbord matched with herring, snaps and singing…crayfish parties featuring the red gold and funny hats…the harvesting seasons apples and berries…game meat and mushrooms as the autumnal season comes to its end…settling in for winter and enjoying a Swedish “julbord”…seven traditional culinary experiences throughout the year.

The meals we serve at Wallby are created using products of the highest quality provided by small, local businesses and our own farm, forests and lakes. We seek to provide a food experience of the finest our small part of Sweden has to offer.

Our food is innovative with food influences stemming from all corners of the world, though always with a foot firmly planted in the traditional cuisine of Sweden and Småland. We cook honest food from scratch, by season and with love and passion as our main ingredients. For all our local producers, please refer to our map.

All the way from Rudenstams in the apple valley via Chateau d’Anglès to Mackmyra.

Get your fill with us whether it be in the form of a glass of fruity rosé in the sunset, a southern French wine from Languedoc, or a cider from Skärsta valley. Also, naturally our avec cabinet offers both cognac and Mackmyra Whiskey. Our three-course meal comes with a custom wine menu.

Opening hours and pricing

We welcome groups for lunch by appointment. A minimum of 10 guests is required. The lunch costs 245 kronor per person. For our menu or any questions, please feel free to contact us!

The restaurant is also open to pre-bookings all year round for a minimum of 10 persons.
