In the large kitchen scents from all the delicacies that belong to Christmas are spreading when we prepare our sumptuous Christmas Dinner. Traditional but yet with room for some innovation.
Before our guests tackles the beautifully set Christmas table, we gather in the mansion and enjoy mulled wine and gingerbread.
Soon, the time has come for the Christmas Dinner table. We think that you should do at least five rounds.
Mustard herring, classic onion herring, blueberries herring or perhaps mulled wine herring – of course our own pickles. To accompany this there are potatoes, homemade bread and cheeses. Let herring intermingled with herring salad, and do not forget our delicious crayfish herring.
Now we toast with our table neighbors and wish each other Merry Christmas!
Take the smoked salmon, our poached salmon or perhaps the hot smoked chilli salmon. To this we serve seafood pâté and egg halves topped with shrimp.
Eat SLOWLY and enjoy all the delights!
Now there’s ham, jellied veal, baked liver pâté, pâtés, delicious sausages and moose topside. Our warmest recommendation is to try the ham together with our homemade mustard. If you dare!
Now there’s Jansson’s temptation, venison meatballs, sausages, Christmas sausage, dip into the pot, gourmet smoked sausage from Åseda, dampers, Christmassy rack of lamb and stockfish. Also try our omelette with chanterelle mushrooms from Skirö forests.
Time for another toast with your table mates.
It’s not affected, at all, by all the other rounds.
