Wallby Säteri

A long parkway leads up to the grand manor of Wallby Säteri. The majestic oak trees framed with the lake in the background dominate the view around the manor. Here you stay in the middle of Smålands garden, enjoying the beautiful scenery and high quality food, perhaps fresh-caught perch and home-flavoured schnapps. Simplicity and excellence.

My family and I came here in 2000. I have been in the hospitality business since the late 80′s when I opened the Café Blå in the main square of Sigtuna. It evolved through the years from a small cafe with ice cream and sandwiches to a restaurant with a large terrace, where we served our very much appreciated food. After that I became partner in the Sigtuna City Hotel.

Today we live at Wallby Säteri where we run the conference and hotel business, with our own course activities. We are also actively pursuing agriculture and forestry. In addition, we manage a veterinary practice that focuses primarily on horses.

I think that the challenge of working with hospitality is to get our guests to feel chosen, noticed and tended to with personal care.
